Don't try remember the exact wording from your notes in your answer to yourself;

synthesizing that information into an answer is a much more useful tactic.

 

It can also help to say the answers to your questions out loud,

as if you were trying to explain it to someone else.

誰かに教えるという行為は、

記憶に一番残る行為の一つだそうです。

 

一人で勉強している時でも、

自分以外の誰かを想定して、

その人に説明するように、

教科書の内容を要約してみたり、

数学の問題を解いてみたり、

化学反応式について説明する、

という勉強法もいいかもしれません。
